Hi All,
Well good news is cars back in one bit and engines fine with 60 races on it, had a great tussle with  Kevin Denwood's  BMW E46 then playing with my old mate Tony Paxman's Escort swapping places just like we did 40 years ago!

Bad news is to put it bluntly, yesterday the car was junk, no power due to somehow running too rich and diff gearing way off  leaving me to wait forever for boost to appear on two corners then the chicane. To put it into prospective, looked at my data sheets and three years ago on a cold damp day in October on track day tyres and 140 bhp less I was 2.5 seconds quicker!, so we had best not write the car off just yet  ;) .  Still had a good day though so thank you to the organisers and to the many drivers who welcomed me, after last weeks Mallory debacle :great: .
(Thanks also go to Jon and Jim for assisting)
All the best Clive

Great pictures Jon  :icon_thumleft:  Looking through those gave a good feel for the event "vibes" on the day.

Sounds like some more work to do before the next race Clive - very strange for this power issue not to show up earlier at Brands or Mallory. At least you finished both races, improved on your grid position in both and drove home with the car in one piece. Looks like you had some fun tussling with other cars too.

Onwards and upwards  :icon_thumleft:

Apart from the first 3 minutes of the footage where I got the sound sync wrong. I didn't notice until after I posted it  :-[

This series is so cool.. cool cars cool people. Guy on the pitlane was one of the front running Falcon guys.. so friendly... i was blown away tbh. Reignited a racing passion too lol. I chatted to so many people in the pits all great apart from 1 who didnt like me taking a piccy but his car was bumped so prob understandable.
