Awesome Day but still not quick enough... Waynes got me and my mates bmw too. But got the measure of everything else accept a 12yr old in a race Ginnetta. Very motivated for more improvements. Splitter redesign first.
I still dont know how you do it with your low hp Wayne

Considering it's only a years worth of seat time in the 5 .
I think you've squeezed loads of time from it
Your all over me
I was only consistent 128-129 's

Good day at Pembrey track day Saturday just gone
Had to put a donor engine in as 6900 track day miles seems to have knocked the compression down to 4.8 all around
Time for a rebuild
Looking forward to meeting the the Wiltshire duo down there in a few weeks
All loaded for donington park for Wednesday
Plenty of vids on ewe tube if you fancy a look

Here's one , car was epic

Had a reasonable day at  donington park
Car went into limp mode twice and broke down once
Break down was due to the coil harness earthing out the front engine lifting point
Fixed that ( thanks big Pete )
Hoping the limp mode was the omp ,  so swapped that over now from my old engine .
First tome being towed into the pits
The shame .........
It's defo a walk of shame
Race car 116 BMW's were a slight pain
Nevertheless , when the car was running it was brilliant
Big balls to keep it flat down the hill but managed it just fine
