Getting there with the paint removal. The paint hasn't adhered to the primer so it's coming off easy

So glad to hear you are OK. Could have been so much worse - the mass of that deer, muntjac by the looks of it, would have been huge. Well done with the repair so far, looks like you'll get a good result

Bloody mot has run out on the 3rd. I thought it was tonight.
Nearly there with scraping the paint off. Annoyingly mx5 parts has run out of grilles...

I'm still here, lurking.
Got a bit of an issue on the mx5.
I parked the car up for work this morning and got back in it this afternoon to drive home. All was well for the first 2 mins and then the car starts smoking quite badly.
I think I've blown an oil seal, it clears when warm.
The oil pressure at idle has dropped to 1 bar.

Unfortunatly I would say one of the Rotor "rubbers" has failed because you are able to burn off the oil thats getting in the chamber

The oil control rings have gone on mine, mine smokes and stinks to high heaven. I see it as extra lube for the apex seals lol no need for r3 spec 3rd omp injector hahaha.

I take my decent cat off too and put it on for it's annual test coz the excessive oil killed the internals on my last cat.

Welded a heimholtz resonator onto the exhaust. Has helped slightly.
I did an an extra 90' bend
