Jamie, Just seen this picture on FB.
I dont know if you have fitted the box up in the cars tunnel yet, but its maybe worth knowing the the five speed box is much slimmer and lighter.

Yup I bought a 5 speeder and R3 diff back in 2019 I think. Not got round to fitting

The 6 speed box had some aluminium webbing ground off to fit.

A lotus chassis is easy as it's sheet steel.

Introduce my box section chassis and the hole it goes up in is 2" narrower.

Either way up, the chassis accepts a six speeder if I decide to revert back

The gods were looking down on me. Found a piece of Ali tube that's been collecting dust for years, and it's mm perfect for my stock rx8 washer bottle cap.

I feel some tig welding coming up soon

Does anyone have an RX8 coolant flow diagram showing all the components.

Too lazy to pull stuff out the engine bay to trace it

Google not being very helpful either

I'm positioning the outlets for my Ali header tank and rather have them pointing in the right directions

I had a quick look and couldn't see anything for for complete RX-8 coolant setup. I'd previously seen a great diagram for the FD, and can find that quite easily , but not the equivalent one for the renesis engine

Made these at work today.

People like merlin motorsport stopped selling them for whatever reason

Happy to make them if anyone needs some.

Obviously tooling constraints means I can't make a whole bonnet etc.

But there's some options

Those louvres look really smooth, unlike the ones on my ultrasonic cleaning bath that I discovered were razor sharp when I wondered what caused all that blood on my hand a couple of days ago!

Could i have some...looking at options for the mx5 turbo bonnet last couple of days.. only 2 small 1s. 4 louvres ea.

Ok so, a couple of parameters.

2mm thick maximum thickness.

Louvres are 100mm long.

Tool punches 3 louvres at a time .....

If you can work around that
