Mr Spiller

I'm hoping this is familiar with someone

I'm being a big boy and fitting all
By myself lol
I've read instruction and all but one relate to 1and 2 which are the side entry ports . 3 is the front
Am I right I can just block the front one off ?
Thanks if you can help

Dont block the unused port off. Thats the vent.. it cycles very quickly to vent air from the actuator. Ill ring you tomoz to go through it.

Thanks
So a one way valve or just air filter then ?

Leave port venting free no silencer need it to vent unrestricted

So you got a 7psi spring in wastegate actuator...
That mean when 7 psi applied to actuator diaphragm it opens..but you want to run 13.5 psi.( 1 bar)..
The boost soleniod is connected in line from boost source to actuator and via controller ecu etc it cycles the solenoid rapidly to vent of 6.5psi of pressure so you have 13.5psi of boost at engine from turbi but actuator only sees 7 psi... this cyclic pulsing of soleniod is called duty.
There are various setups open closed loop control etc..id leave that to pip when he tunes it.
Important bit is via instructions to plumb solenoid up correctly.
Its a 2 way valve but its rapidly turning on and off so basically a bleed valve.
