Hi everyone I am new here and relatively new to rotaries. I was wondering if 500 hp is a safe power goal for a 13b block, And can you make that amount of power and still be steerable.

Grant Monkhouse

500 hp is perfectly fine, just don't cut corners or buy cheap stuff etc. Good maintence etc

Hello and  :welcome:

My Race car runs 520BHP on just one bar of boost and just a street port and it drives like a non turbo, so yes you can :great:,

Can tell us where you are with modifications and we can then start to try and help you.

We need to know / Turbo/ intercooler and fuel system for a start.

All the best Clive

I am in the USA. In terms of build status; haven't started yet and don't have any parts. Just wanted to get an idea of what I was thinking was responsible.

Where are you located? Best thing you can do is get in touch with your nearest rotary garage

It's a bit of a drive and you go threw Philadelphia (ugh) but a honest shop is hard to find for even normal cars these days. Did you miss the part in a reply to Clive about the build status (or more accurately lack of a build)  "in terms of build status; haven't started yet and don't have any parts. Just wanted to get an idea of what I was thinking was responsible"

The guys Grant pointed you to are OK and I have dealt with them.
3 hours away from you, so the nearest Rotary Shop.
