Well I appreciate the comments of confidence chaps, I genuinely do.

But when you have a mental state where " not all your dogs are barking"  like mine, it's easy to set the bar too high for yourself and never be able to congratulate yourself despite others views.

Enough drivel..... must press on

Well a successful morning

Canards practically fell out the moulds. Thin layer of GRP, gel coat and PU foam filled for increased stiffness and rigidity while staying very lightweight.

Made 20mm thick so it has a 10mm rad on the leading edge. This air stuff doesn't like thin leading edges, it causes separation you need to maintain the boundary layer.

Anyway, a quick sand, gel coat over the foam filling hole and fit ...........

...... next !

It could be complete overkill but if I'm gonna make them now is the time while the body has no paint on.

I could always leave them off

See how it goes ....

I've been quietly watching this thread for .... well a while (I'm not a stalker mind ) and your sheer skill, determination and the fact you find the time in amongst everyday stuff is truly impressive.  I'm sure we all wish we could do what you have achieved so far, let alone what this project has the potential to become! Sadly my skill level is nowhere near that but I really enjoy catching up on your progress. Keep going mate, we're all behind you
