Dont forget thats a well sorted very well driven Race or track Rx8 versus a mild tune 7. My 7 pretty much full interior tools etc and older rear suspension design.
At the Jdm days its flying by the normal rx8s. Wayne is a 1.19s boy and thats a well driven track rx8...with a bbk and slicks. Front splitter and rear wing. I think 1.19 is best of the best for an rx8 til you turbo charge it. Where as..looks at Steve Putt..1.08 in an rx7...ls7 engine. 285 slicks aero bgw..etc.

I'd agree with you both
Aero has given me 1.5 seconds on a lap and I do try lol .
Just got to chase Jon to 1.17 now , it's a tough circuit , have only driven it 5 maybe 6 times
I'd say equal spec RX7-RX8 at least 3 seconds
