As for Brands turns out I had only a couple of laps left on the brake pads and they were perfect before the event! /

Had that offending tyre stripped and it was a thin strip on the beading that hadn't peeled off when it came out the machine that made it, so there's nothing wrong with the tyre after all (it was better to be safe than sorry though).

Really enjoyed this second race and with the level of competition I am up against the results were what I thought they would be as I was aiming for at least a top 10. Finished 8th and 9th. More importantly I found 3 seconds over the weekend.

With developments and then slicks on the car I was a huge 8 seconds faster than the last time I raced there. Getting Down to 2:09.755. Really enjoyed Racing with the Colin Voyce's Escort, racing which couldn't have been closer as we both set our fastest laps on lap 5 with my car just one thousandth  of a second faster.

So much more can be done to the car and after the next race, the big old girl will go on a diet in the quest for more speed
