Before the lock down it looked ok for spectators as we dont get that many.

Well I have finally started to get the car ready to hopefully race on the 4th July.

As some of you know I have suffered with excessive heat during races, so I have now made an addition. I now have a fresh air pipe that comes in from the nose runs up the passenger side then up under the steering column.

Next I will have a Naca duct snorkel that’s going into the drivers window, rather than the tube I was running through the window.

My new super soft Extreme 265/35 tyres also turned up this week, after trying first the hard version, then the  medium. Tyre temperatures on the mediums suggest they should “live” the duration of a race distance. 

(p.s. a good set of Hard compound will now be for sale, perfect for tack days, these were 5 seconds a lap faster than R888R's round Snett )

The wheels are 9.5 / 18 The rear arches need a little roll to get these on with the 265's and the front half of the plastic inner arch needs to come out, mind you I run the car very low so you may get away with not taking the plastics out.
£200 For the set of 4 collected or £20 on top for delivery.  (Just been asked the same on  a PM on RX8OC

We have a track day at castle Combe next Saturday the 6th .
It came to light yesterday that as Wales is still on lockdown that we are breaking the law travelling across the boarder .
Been to work everyday and never been pulled in , just our luck we’ll get pulled up next Saturday morning on our journey
