I am going to start work on my first gen with its turbo II engine.   I am going to port the engine and stick a huge (T88) turbo on it.
I will be using bigger injectors and uprated fueling etc.

The bit i\'m not sure of is the best way to do the engine management.  I could use additional injectors and then use an additional injector contoller but this is a bit hit and miss.  I would prefer to use an apexi as i had on my FD.

Is it easy to convert the manifolds and ignition pick up to take FD TPS etc and then use the APEXI.  I assume if i do this, the apexi will be able to control the timing?

Any ideas??

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

it is possible to get an PFC for the FC. There are one or two places in Japan who have them, so I guess it must be possible.

89 Black FC3S Turbo II
1/2 Bridge port   Microtech LT10s   TII Conv Aluminium Bonnet & Leather seats   Koni Shocks Pi Springs   De-catted 3" exhaust
GT4088 turbo   Walbro fuel pump   1000cc injectors   custom V-Mount   Blitz Boost Controller (ok so the boost controller is still to fit)

Loud? Hell yes! :D

Why bother with an Apexi, just use a Microtech. There are plenty of people who are more than competent at mapping them.

I was going to suggest Microtech, but if you are set on the PFC then it should be possible.

I was thinking microtec, but i have only seen one car using it with good results (TIM).  I had a pfc on my FD and every other FD on the strip uses PFC.  I think they are cheaper to pick up aswell.
Anyone got any ideas of prices for a suitable microtech for the FC Turbo?

Hi,
Speak to Mark(Sadgoth) as he gets the new LT8S in. The PFC is easy in the FD as it fits straight into the wireing loom. For your aplication i would go for a different unit. I have been using the Microtech for the last 1 1/2 years with good results. Easier to tune, and very user friendly. If you require any help with the maps, let me know.
