Old suspension is now replaced with shiny new Tein Flex, provided by ShyAuto and fitted by Clive.

Absolutely worth it so far.  Not put it to any really hard tests but the comfort factor is much improved.  CD\'s no longer skip and the crashing from the rear when going over anything larger than a pebble has gone.  Speed humps no longer bring about an automatic flinch!  Even though the front is a tad lower than before the nose doesn\'t scrape on anything now (coming out of drive was always a problem before!).

Not fiddled with any settings yet but that\'ll probabky wait for track usage.

Good price and great service - pretty sure the courtesy car isn\'t normally part of the package but was well appreciated!

From what i read Tein are the best to get, are you saying its a less harsh ride than standard? was it expensive?

Hard to tell what how they are compared to standard really - my rear shocks were shafted and going over a bump was really not pleasant.  Fronts were pretty hard but also had too much movement.

On the Flex kit you have the damping adjustment (twisty bit on the top) and you can also set the pre-load on the springs which stiffens things up a little.

It\'s certainly a smoother ride than before but hard to tell if it\'s softer than properly working stock bits.

Price should be over on the Vendors section (here).  I think there\'s a discount on this kit for club members but check with Shyauto.

How long did you leave your car with clive for the kit to be fitted. Thinking that it may be my next acquisition as i think the ride in my FD could be greatly improved.

I was after getting the Tein Flex and optional EDFC, glad to hear theres no complaints about them, yet

How much were they in the end, seen them advertised in the back on Banzai so wondered where the cheapest would be
