Clive I remember looking at your turbo manifold and it had reducers from the main pipe into the turbo T4 flange, do you know where they came from? I need a couple for my manifold

I have found that if I haven't gotten my tyres warm before I ragged them they turned purple/ blue and they didn't wear well, but never noticed grip level difference not that I could.

Give AET Turbo a ring on 01924 894171,  I think they will be able to help.

Only good bit of good news I've heard for a while   ;)

Well providing I dont get tom and dick myself (or Lisa) it looks like I will be racing at Oulton on April the 13th with the latest info coming out of the Track Attack club, the MSV and the Motorsport UK  :great:

Here's a few extracts.

Physical social contact should be avoided. Do not shake hands. No offence is taken should the community elect not to physically greet one another

Any briefings that take place should be conducted in an external environment or well-ventilated, spacious indoor facility

Personal Protective Equipment will not be closely examined by Event Officials unless the equipment is visibly defective.

No vehicle safety examinations will take place where contact with the vehicle is required, except where a safety defect is observed.

The view is that it is unlikely that there will be any form of government requirement to suspend club racing, given the small spectator numbers. This has been supported by government statements that there is no need to postpone or cancel open air sporting events as things stand, with evidence suggesting that they are not a major contributory factor in the spread of viruses.

Good news  so far
Hopefully it won’t change

Oh dear, Paul Roddison just posted this up on Facebook:

Motorsport UK COVID-19 Update

It is with regret that Motorsport UK is suspending all organising permits and Certificates of Exemption until at least 30th April 2020. This suspension follows the latest guidance issued by HM UK Government in response to the outbreak of COVID-19. This position will be constantly reviewed given prevailing information.

As the National Governing Body, we would ask all Motorsport UK members to act responsibly and follow the Government’s guidance during this difficult time.

We thank all of our members, organisers, officials, volunteers, staff and their families for their support during these unprecedented times. We will continue to monitor the situation and will resume sporting activity as soon as we are able. We also have a responsibility and duty of care to our staff who will be working from home, so please be patient with any queries you may have.

David Richards, chairman of Motorsport UK, explained, “Clearly we live in challenging times and exceptional measures are required. The decision to suspend Motorsport UK permits on a temporary basis is not one that was taken lightly as the industry employs many thousands of people. However we have an over-riding responsibility to our members and the friends and families of our community. Furthermore, our social responsibilities extend to the broader population and the potential drain on valuable public health resources on which we are all reliant.

“The situation is very fluid and we will continue to monitor developments over the coming weeks and hope that we can resume the annual motorsport calendar at the opportune moment. In the immediate short term our efforts need to be focused on ensuring that the industry that backs up the sport has the financial support that it requires from the Government in order that it can be sustained beyond this extraordinary scenario.”

Digging through pictures (yep getting bored) and I found some of the car to log on the thread.
Famous  start finish line at Goodwood a couple of years ago, a flame out from Brands, another from Brands and lastly chasing that pesky Cleo, which I did at Mallory last year.
