Hahaha

There’s about 10000000 white balls all over the floor already.

I’ve got the hot wire cutter out now

When you wonder why Emma’s snow shoes are twisted in body, then you realise the fans are offset by an inch on the fan shroud

.... it’s the little things that send the biggest challenges

Yay back on 4 wheels!
That exhaust setup is crying out for a turbo!

Happy to help with wiring.

I think the wiring guide is on here

Lol no turbo for me bud, not on this project anyways.

I can just about get my head around all the solenoids and flaps on this thing.

I think there will be enough oomph for the weight of the car. I don’t want any funny surprises mid corner. Haha

Cheers for the support on the wiring.

I need to put that job off as long as I can lol it sends me cold

Reminiscing when R2D2 used to be a Siamese twin !

Taking shape.

Due to space constraints, I need to mock up the pattern in 3 pieces, remove and then bond together off the car.

Product will be in 2 pieces. Will need to mock up the new bonnet in parallel with the exit duct so there is good flow out the car.

Lots to do.

re japi

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Change of plan.......

The air intake system and the rad outlet duct have been having a fight over space, the air intake won.

Keeping the boobies but the Rad outlet is coming out the nose cone now.

So fitted the original bonnet, hinged it, and the air intake and the bonnet had a fight over space, the air intake won.

The bonnet will be original release catches at the rear edge but on locating dowels on the front, so it will be a lift off bonnet.

Trouble is with a wedge shaped front end like the FB. Struggling for room everywhere...... Gotta fit my electric water pump somewhere....

Build schedule will change, on the bonnet build now.....
...

Going away the weekend, leggy going to it's new home on Sunday.

Try and get some pics done middle of next week

Bonnet on and kind of aligned.

Trying to incorporate the shape of the engine cover into the bonnet.

More polystyrene and mud ahead lol
