I did change that over load switch on the compressor today. Got confused coz the original switch had 1 and 2 on the spade terminals, and on the new one it had line and load.

well theres a 50 50 chance ill get it the right way round.

It aint gone bang yet, and hasnt cut out.

Ill be honest i took pot luck, I should have at least even noted which wires went where.

Theres a red bull can sized thingy inside next to the switch.... is that a capacitor or something ? stored energy for initial inrush start up.... something like that from uni rings a bell...

The one wire to the switch looked a bit brittle on the insulation, I bet that was from when i put a piece of gaffer tape over the over load switch stop it popping out lolllll

This rotus is gonna have an electrical fire i swear hahaha
