Clive its a Mobile phone i took a screen shot and zoomed in..
Its gonna be a circuit app like Harrys lap timer.
Ideally need an old mobile phone..pay as you sim..a decent phone holder and away you go.
All circuits are mapped in the apps and via gps will do lap times.

Maybe ask on rx8club some off the tech savvy youngsters on there set you something up at the Brands hatch trackday.

There is few timer apps, that uses phones gps. However phones gps are usually so slow that you need external thing for accurate times.

I use RaceChrono app

Yep, I use the RaceChrono App (free version) on my Android phone. Comparing the laptimes it records against video shows it's pretty accurate (better than 10th of a second I'd say). It works reliably in my RX-8 tucked away in the centre console cubby hole. You cab set up speed traps around the track and record at split times for several sections of the track.

It also gives a recording of speeds around the circuit too, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

Fixed that for you  You just need to remove the "s" from "https" at the start of the url address.

OK, thank you. I think the problem is that I need to pickup things direct from YouTube and not Facebook or BE stuff.

Doh, I can see its a phone now !!

It looks like an i phone so I will have a look for an ap.
I remember years ago Jim (Lenny Karloff) had an ap that did loads of things Lap time G etc etc

Btw, RaceChrono is Finnish made App... 

What is best feature in it, is that you can create your own track aswell. For examble, I use it on frozen ice lake racing. Just let gps draw lines in it, and then ad start/finnish and speedtraps...
