Its the over run thats most worrying as a slow burn from exhaust can have flames up under bumper and maybe ignite any fuel vapour in boot from say external tank and swirlpot etc.
Flames are great but they can also burnt your P&J to crispy chicken...lol.

LOL never thought i could say that the Rotus "tastes like chicken" hahaha

All vaild points and taken on board.

I cut the rolled lip off the straight tip this morning and welded it to the down turn long tip, to make it a little longer and stop pedestrians slicing their shins open..... cast your mind back to yesterdays convo regarding gore lol

Cheers guys

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Loll letters not keepers, blind prat.

That was horrible, but retinas are all good  :icon_thumleft: had an eye test Saturday, had one of those funky 3D scans, saw a green blob in my eye ball.

Hospital confirmed its just a nevus nowt to stress over.

Strangely looking forward to my first pair of specs on Sunday. I may look intellectual for once  :th_smiley-typing: or just like a minion with my chrome dome

Thankfully they're not strong, I need them when I'm sat at my pc all day looking at car stuff lol and stop me getting headaches.

I'm not wearing them in the shed, I'm so clumsy, I'll kill them in half a day .....

I may give you a sneak preview on one social media platform or another

So some good news for a change!

Weve been to see a private neurologist today to get some answers.

Contrary to what both Emma and I believed, Transverse Myelitis is not a condition in itself but an outcome of an underlying problem; in the same way that people get headaches caused by stress or eye strain etc. (So weve learned something) *First tick*

We saw the MRI scans today for the first time and we have been told that there is a 99.9% chance its not Multiple Sclerosis, or certainly the evidence suggests that. *Big tick*

They are confident this condition is a one off and Emma will make a full recovery but they cannot say how long it will take, it could be 3 months, it could be 3 years. fingers crossed.

More bloods required to rule out anti bodies in her system that could be related to Neuromyelitis Optica or NMO. If her body is clear of this anti body then she can come off the steroids immediately as all they are doing is controlling the inflammation on her spinal cord in case she does have NMO. Another big tick as the weight gain is getting her down. (Gravity works like that lol)

So, possible causes that attacked her nervous system in the first place. NMO, being run down, eczema, thrush, flu, or a B12 vitamin deficiency which apparently is also an auto immune condition.

We may never know the cause, but the good news is that there is hope of a full recovery, just need to be patient, and in the grand scheme of things, if you rate her level from 1 being having the condition with no symptoms to 10 being completely paralyzed shes around a 2 or 3......

Certainly a dark cloud is gone from my mind
