Not directly related to cars but maybe , one day, they will lift the emissions laws and the rotary will rise from the ashes once more !

Question.......

I've made the exits ducts from the back of the oil coolers which Jon called "Emma's new shoes" and the air is funnelled into the front wheel wells.

I'm having a thought of utilising that spent air and use the same air to cool the discs..........

Therefore.....

1, do you think the discs need cooling on a light car?
2, I don't know how much the air passing through the coolers will increase in temperature by passing the oil coolers, there’s only the plastic wheel liners behind the coolers on the standard rx8 set up. I certainly would have thought it will still be cooler than the discs.
3, Clive where did you buy those backing plates with the ducts built in from for christine?

I'm just thinking of being "efficient" during the build....

Clive, found the backing plates on RBE website......

Just wondered if it was worthwhile exercise using that air to cool
