Well with a 53.6 I gotta say i'm pleased, as its tough to find lumps of time on a 1 mile track.

The aero must have worked as the car has more front end grip and I had to give the car more rear end grip for the second race then I found a lump of time.

For those who know Brands, before off the end of Cooper straight I always had to have a dab of brake and lift and just about lift and coast up to Clearways. Now I am not braking and still on the throttle right up to Clearways, so the mods worked     

Had two great races and come home with spoils.

Best of all, no work and the cars ready for the next Race@Mallory

On a different note, look at the colour of this exhaust, just about the most optimum colour your ever going to see out of a Rotary.

Racing with this MGB V8, lots of grunt with 420BHP  plus on full slicks and very lightweight, got very very close at times, but I got him in the end  .

Go to say he was a very capable driver as well and much fun was had by both of us.

Then with tyre pressure adjustments to the rear, I  gapped him in the second race  .

I sorted the clutch that was slipping when going into 4th down the straight for the next race
