Jarno
Even Pip was surprised by the power and the way it produces its power, like he said we really have got the ports working correctly with the Turbo we have, plus so much is down to Pips mapping abilities and the map that has been built over a few mapping sessions.

As many will know when tuning piston engines the induction / exhaust/ cam valve size / compression / porting all have to work together to get the best you can from any given engine and a Rotary is no different,

As the car is on track we actually knocked the boost back as we did have 20 brake more on very slightly higher boost ;).

On 1680 / 850's and we are almost on max fueling now!

On of the things that helped tremendously yesterday was that Steve made the wastage adjustable so, rather than changing the spring  I  was able to crank more or less pressure to increase or decrease boost  :great:

OK, going to give the car a run on Sunday  18 AUGUST @ the FESTIVAL ITALIA 2019 - BRANDS HATCH

It will be racing in the All Comers races against crazy machinery but this will give me a good opportunely to test the car in proper race conditions.
(hopefully in the dry)

Last time I had two Race Radicals out there with me , wow never been lapped that many times in my life !

What injectors are those, Bosch EV14? And what was duty cycle of injectors?

Running pump fuel or E85?

Are you sure that 470was at the wheels, not at flywheel?

Cause Im just trying to understand how the h* *l you managed to get that kind of power

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Jarno if you look at the screen on the right you will see 500 + flywheel traces ;).  (last time it was mapped it showed 408 whp and 469 Flywheel BHP)

Mapped on Shell V-Power unleaded pump fuel which is a 99RON octane fuel.

But Race day I add Lucas Octane Booster  and on the tracks that have long straights I do use a drop of Race fuel as well for safety.

Yes they are Bosch EV14's and if they was near their max duty cycle Pip would have told me.

Just thought , Jarno your overlooking a vital,  find me power ingredient,  “Pip” Gardner who started tuning Rotary's in 1981.

Rotary's tuned include a 757, 787 and a little know Rotary guy's car called 'Mad' Mike Whiddett  ;)

He also travels around Europe and is up in Denmark today

Mr Spiller

They are amazing numbers fair play Clive  . I was up Pips last week and he got my Greddy turbo up to 244 WHP with half bar of boost and I was very happy .

Getting there Clive, another stupid night of insomnia..... Emma's got insomnia because of the steroids she's on. So she's on her kindle.

My cogs are going a million miles an hour so I went from page 66 to 100, thought that was a good enough milestone.

What a journey!

Another lost front end, mad MR2's, the infamous manual rack( I need to do that I have a spare) rear wing mods, dodgy apex seals, out of balance engines, tongue out driving......
