I was reading something on the net about people with same symptoms and they had a coolant puddle forming on top of inlet manifold from an external seal leaking

Yep until it shows symptoms of coolant seal failure i will treat as external leak...and check under UIM.
There is no smoke no rough running temps are stable. Its running perfect tbh.

Fire up to come home...couple of spits of liquid out exhaust...

?. Buzzer going out gate. Stop undoe cap...lots of pressure small spurtage ...buzzer off drive home....nothing in overflow....82deg all the way home...

Yep i can get it done...not sure if works on a rotary....ive got coolant to throttle boy so its fully bled...
Monday...top it off cold....no pressure in system....lets see what happens now.

Me 2....blow ups are a erm...more obvious lol.
Its looking more likely coolant seal failure but few more things to check.

Well sorry for no show...i left a message on rx8oc not to wait 4 me....at 6ish....bent double at 1.30am attack of the bloated belly and usual bowel clearing left me wiped out so went to bed til 10.30am...
Anyways even keel now so playing with rx7...
I think its rebuild time...
It passed sniff test and cold pressure test...
But champayne test there are small bubbles coming to surface now...with cap on and water bottle hooked upto cap overflow...filled it up in 2/3 wot...
Idle on driveway different scenario to WOT ...

Ill pull engine and refit...not sure if i wanna build myself.
