Oh my good god, lolllllll

Multi tasking eh haha.

Well on that note time for toast, couple of layers of fibreglass, then nip up to Nottingham for this 5 speeder, call back at the cousins in Loughborough for more spares from his broken up 8 ( think he's planning on building a rotary powered lotus 7 rep )

Busy day, have fun chaps

Been stressing about getting the car ready for Coombe----------------no parts!

I have been waiting for Racingbrake to ship the brake parts with a customer  order for some brakes for a Ferrari Californian to get the car up n running again.

I initially ordered the pair of Rotor rings 2 new pistons and a set of seals, then realised with my luck that if the caliper leaked I wouldn't be racing, plus lose my entrance money so I ordered a pair of new calipers and help the order up again !

The order finally left America last night and will hopefully be here Monday.

At least my new cooling backplates arrived from Good-Win-Racing, so along with 2.5" air intakes and brake duct hose from Merlin I was at least able to get those parts on the car ready for the brake parts to arrive.

Real pleased the inlets sat nicely along side the oil coolers  :great:

Yeah I hope they will arrive on time too.

I managed to convince the Mrs that coming to castle Combe on Monday was better than doing anything else.

Got a hillclimb event to go to on the Sunday so she took some convincing lol

Will be there around 10

Happy to get dirty if anyone needs a spare pair of hands. I Think I can operate a trolley jack. Or I can lick ice cream n watch, both is good lol

See you then  :icon_thumleft:

Looks like we can go to the Ball  ;) Still staggers me that the parts left America Friday night and are here today, we live in such a small world now  :great:

Jon, yep, same place also did you realise we are cannon fodder again, out first as track cleaners qualifying at 8.30  ::)

Going to be interesting as I am going to have to bed the new brake pads in all round for the first few laps !

That's brake porn!

Yup that's impressive delivery,

If only things were that quick here in the uk! Good ole American customer service, I was impressed when ordering stuff for the truck.

Had a faulty caliper once that I bought 18 months previously, the seat at the bottom of the bleed nipple was cast badly and wouldn't seal.

New caliper in the post no questions asked. I guess the blame culture in America has its advantages.  :icon_thumleft:

We now finally have brakes!

Turns out stopping the car on the rear brakes didn't do those pads any good either, I did say I had NO brakes  :-[

Brakes bled out real easy from empty all by myself with this simple little valve  I got from e-bay.
