Yes Neil Castle Combe Camp Corner. Locked up braking into corner in wet just went straight on .."luckily" went into tyres then barrier at 45 degress so bounced off and spun around abit on grass. Been fixed back to come for a few laps now in bodyshop getting respray.

Always a nightmare when you do come off. I really doesn't look bad considering a lock up and purely cosmetic. At least you injured it properly doing what is supposed to be doing, ripping up circuits in all conditions! lol wet trackdays are a taxing day for fd's

Yep background for future reference i damaged an abs sensor when re springing the car...so i pulled both abs fuses...the car was locking up front moderate braking...
Id been in pits checking run out of discs etc then i binned it.
So when fixed with new pads discs skimmed etc went down trading est and after bedding in the brakes where still locking....so new abs sensor not more locking up...so even when pullling fuses for abs something funky happens on the brakes.
Ive driven plenty of track cars with abs fuses pulled and never had this scenario...
Ive been back to Combe this year and done 5 laps with 3 onit and all is good.

I think so too, but i remember FDs being 2k...hell i bought my first 1 rebuilt engine for 3k...but fds dont suffer as much rot as 8s...8s are thinning out fast mind but they sold in numbers way more than fds...and then the tax...56 onwards is over 550 a year and will keep going up year on year, thats hard to stomach for an in the future rx8 classic weekend car....
There will always be die hard fans though. I wont pay that tax and then the "system" wins.
