Well, they say every day should be an education.....

I never knew these things even existed.....

Surely they take out the "slop" if your centre bore on your wheel is larger than the centre of your hub/disc.

I guess you cant always buy the right centre bore on the wheels you would like. A good example of why you shouldn't rely on the wheel nuts to self centralise.

7500 rpm in 4th is around 140mph so this is why any minor wheel/hub inbalance  shows up!.

Chances are, I could take the wheels off, bolt them up again and they would settle in a slightly different place. If I run the hub rings to really make sure the wheels are centralised on the hubs then I shouldn't have any more issues. 

Normally across 5 studs the wheel would  centralise itself, but this is obviously not always the case with Christeen, after all she does have a mind of her own

Just thought, some may not know what the Christine is all about.

It's the 1980's horror film with the car that had a mind of its own.

Became, especially poignant after the RX-8 set itself alight at Silverstone a few years back!.

Right, we are ready for the off, with the car now sitting out at Brands Hatch ready for the first race of the season tomorrow with some 37 cars taking to the grid .

Wow, its going to be a busy qualifying hopefully without too many lemmings behind the wheel who throw themselves off the track, leading to a plethora of yellow flags. The racing should be fun, on a short track, meaning I will have to keep my tactical head on if we are lapping slower cars so I don't get boxed in
