Should have the offside  front n rear wings done by Saturday evening, minus the beading........

Getting excited, will post pics.......

The hardest bit will be getting the near side ones to matchl lol

Well I failed!

Did get as much done as I wanted  :( :'( changed my mind on the shape of the front wing.

Loads of low spots still............. and theres no little flare on the edge of the opening..... so yeah far from finished.

Best to show what the wings were like before so y'all have a comparison how far out ive come.

Taking some styling cues from modern cars, they tend to have roughly 40mm gap all round the tyre. Unless they are slammed to the ground and tucked up in the arches.

Not a great fan of that look, looks like the suspension is bust, and this car lonly has 120mm ground clearance atm, even less when the underfoor aerodynamics get fitted.

Managed to get wet filler in my beard too!!! pfffftttttt .......bad weekend. :angry5: :angry5: :angry5:

So now ive finished my hissy fit at myself ive got a shape i like and happy with.

The downside is, these are just the patterns, Ive got moulds to make, and product, and graft them on the car.....somehow.

Pants! I gotta do the other side too.

Less chit-chat, more filler!

I hate cars!

No I hate body work and filler!

sanding has gone past the point of being theraputic and relaxing to becoming a PITA!

On the second side, trying to match up the first side. I hate cars!

Had a vist yesterday from a guy who makes motorsport fibreglass panels, so got a steer in the right direction on making the moulds, the new panels and grafting them on.

Reckon Im a month away from getting the new wings fitted yet, I hate cars!

I wanna be making brackets, underfloor bits,

Gonna have a try at painting it myself, gonna have a try at rebuilding the engine myself.....someone not too far away twisted my arm.

All thats left is everything else.

I hate cars

As I said, rotarys arent so difficult. But you need to know some, how I say, "little tricks". Research, thinking, learning, and some common sense...

Im not expert on these things. And there is just few experts here. But you have lots of experts there, that helps alot...
