MX-5 NC with RX-8 231 Engine

I've taken the mx5 abs pump out and will be putting the rx8 item in but slightly relocated.
Annoyingly I've got to get the abs working due to the new mot regs

Mounted battery box after a bit of jiggling other bits about. Just fits and leads reach ad well! Expansion tank is loose at the moment.
That's enough for tonight before I piss off the neighbours and I've got work tomorrow!

Planning on running an alloy pipe straight out of Tb into a 90' in front of front panel. Similar to what I had on here before with mx5 engine

The rx8 air box system is prbably best you can get i think its only the Aem that actually has a positive effect and its only small. In the Rx8 system youll find x2 grids..round guaze things these are actually air straightners and help with idle control and allow the maf to get acurant readings...ideally need to run at least 1. Early days of Westfield got a few maf and running lean codes to i fitted an air straightner back in.
The rate your going will be fire up soon.
What you doing with the fuel system?

I looked up the mx5 fuel pump rating and its 4bar so no need to change!

Cool yep i remember now...flow rate will the pump keep up with the rennys thirst? Whats the lph rating of the 2 compared?

Just small wins but they seem to take the longest! Steering rack is on.
Expansion bottle is mounted. Battery box lid trimmed back.
Coolant hoses mostly refitted. Got to clip the one which goes over the exhaust tunnel.
Radiator, oil cooler and ABS pump next

That small hose tail fitting on top of rad to expansion bottle can get brittle over time worth being gentle with it when fitting hose on.
