My two track sessions. A few other rotaries to be seen, mainly towards the end of the 10.15 session.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day, got several 1m26.XX and a 1.25.XX. I've not broken the 1m26s before, so reasonably happy. Sub 1m24s is certainly on the cards, but I need more brave pills for Camp corner. I brake far too much for that bend, which compromises the whole flat out run up to Avon Rise. Huge respect for Clive and Jon running sub 1m20s

Mr Smooth back in action...nailed every apex...Camps my favourite love it, its where i brake the least, Tower however my car just feels loose....

Strange that, I'm happy with Tower, and Quarry come to that, but not Camp, which is obviously the one corner where exit speed into a huge flat out stretch of track will make a huge difference to laptimes. Tower and Quarry less so as there are only short straights to chicanes after both corners.

I got no issues with Quarry,
Are you in 4th brake, down to 3rd for camp..
Id suggest just running through in 4th a few times build the entry speed up abit at a time.

Most of the time I changed down to 3rd for Camp and back up to 4th before the S/F line. I tried going through in 4th a few times, but I felt better with the acceleration out of Camp in 3rd. I just need to go in a bit faster

I agree, I need to work on keeping to 4th and work on increasing entry speed. I need an Open Pit Lane day down there to spend more time experimenting

^^ Update, maybe doing Mallory Park on 9th August as a load of people on RX-8 OC have expressed interest........

Just awaiting re-confirmations before booking that date.

In which case I might have to put Combe on hold, or maybe fit one in August 18-22, if anything available then at sensible price?
