84C on track is Prety good temp. So you probably only need the under tray for stopping crap getting up in the engine bay.

Which mx5 forum do you think would be best to look for mx5 no for sale?

Theres loads of them mate....im on mx5nutz...but nutz is generally for the modified turbo nutters ..mk1 n mk2s so my oem restoration doesnt really fit on there but there a friendly bunch willing to help. Some epic car too...over 300bhp...
Id suggest mx5oc...
You still after a blown engine or straight car to enjoy for abit to see if fits in with rotary conversion?

I want a running car so that I can use it and then send it off to someone to be converted. Maybe Pip as I sort of canâ€™t be arsed doing it lol. But you never know, I might fit the engine and send it off too get it running, probably the best option.

I want a running car as I want to go dona track day here and there. Plus I can do a couple of mods, lowered springs and ARBs, not bothered about power mods though

Me me me...ill do it! (Thats the fd not done for another year lol)...already investigated...lol..rx8 subframes rx7 to rx8 engine conversion mounts as Clives...ta da...and abit more work on top...

Stick it in hole where old engine was mounted on wood where you want it gearstick poke throught hole...cardboard aided design some mounts...landrover engine mounts...

Yep pretty much what I did when putting it in the Rx4 lol. Got better ideas on how to mount it from watching mighty car mods on YouTube mount different engines in their cars. Not bothered about noise transference as you wonâ€™t hear it with the obnoxious bridge port lol

Yep cheap as chips. That nc i got involved in ran front n rear rx8 subframes. Ppf got shortened in the middle. It had ohlins suspension it handled sublime...
IF i was to build a race car now it would be an nc...rx7 single turbo engine n box...rx8 subframes front n rear...caged with removal hardtop soft top junked...no driver aids...
