Mot pass...and whilst on ramp bar'd the driveline...passenger engine mount has had it...thatll be the clunk me thinks and hopefully reason for a few missed gearchanges.
Expensive set of Vibratechnics on ebay...mmm what are my choices...dont want solid blimin horrible.

I know solid mount in the gear box makes a lot of cabin noise but I would wonder if solid or harder engine mounts would make a lot of noise transference?

A rotary engine is very smooth isnâ€™t it compared too a piston motion, no up and down action so do they not transfer as much noise?

Iv no idea though. lol

I did put near solid mounts on my diff in my FD and didnâ€™t notice any difference apart from it stopped banging all the time lol

Car came with solid absolutely horrible...so much noise transfer..and vibration...
Got a engine dampner as well on drivers side...gonna make 1 up for passenger side from some gas struts we got at work.

Tim descibed my car or engine as tired lol....bit like owner.
But back with sump baffle in...
It misbehaved down in Salisbury...pushing out coolant and when sump was off evidence of some water in the oil suspect my daft ideas of suppressing the oil surge as the engines probably not breathing properly and/or bit of condensation from being laid up over winter...it also throw a hissy fit with a 4krpm...by blowing a vacuum pipe off...
He also said it got a blow in turbo area which i thought was just the downpipe to midpipe as i know about that but on the way home didnt feel as urgent as its usually does..and yep a exhaust leak before turbos probably primary...so no booking of track day yet...investigate tomoz and hopefully nip the bolts up...as i aint doing another twin tubby job...no way atall.
Engine mounts all fine not a hint of clunking on way home...
But got me home 81 deg all the way pulled the pipe of to expansion bottle no water coming out...so tomoz nip me bolts up in around turbo thatll fix that....some gum gum on midpipe join....stick me track wheels on jobs a good un...hopefully...

Normal Rocket power restored....all the new last year inconel nuts were loose.....got a good 1/2 to 1 turn on all the turbo pack bolts....just been out for blast and all good...phew...
