Is the relay switched by the ignition? Any resin why Clive couldn’t have the fuel pump on its own directly dedicated circuit, separate fuse and wiring etc?

That's how it is atmo about 9 of them...it's untidy...there's 10 spare relays in oem box.

Yep 10 spare relays in oem box...so all additional could go in there...nice n neat new chart for Clive...well the heater circuit is a 40 amp...and that's on b115 and Acc is a 30amp again on b115...I've got other stuff to get on with so revisit as Google again brought nothing up this morning...

Many Thanks for everyone coming on board to help  :great:

Spent the last three days resurrecting the CX-7 from its accident, back on the road now, only cost me a couple of grand to sort out someone else's stupidity. :angry5:

Bang (literally) goes some of the money for a while that was going into the race car and the bits of paint on the RX-4  :angryfire:

My Westy done the same...passed my race scrutineering...for 1 race racing career...ha ha..well I think I've finished all the external wiring...
I've pulled in 2 feeds Clive for wipers slow and fast just need a 3 pos switch...just think you may need it...I also de rodded the centre wiper stalks no longer rubs on your bulkhead..only balljoints and popped with a lever bar.
Ref 044...goona keep on known 30a relay others will migrate into OEM box...
Coffee time to warm up despite 2 pairs of socks me feet are freezing...

Write up an invoice mate and send it too his insurance company you never No?
I once knew someone who sent invoices to big company's as a lifeline hobby...did quite well out of it...got a free house too..wormwood scrubs lol..
Seriously nothing wrong with sending them an invoice...

rain & sides are OK thank you,

We are going to try with his insurance company, but i'm not holding my breath :( at least we have still got the car we wanted, which would have been hard to replace, i.e. low mileage, one owner, full Mazda history and a fully loaded Sport Nav in the colour we wanted, plus I know from taking it apart, it had never had a knock till now .

Being  a face lift model this CX-7 is the equivalent to an R3 in that there's lots of Series 1 RX-8 about in comparison to R3's so it would have been hard to replace.

All external wiring done...pulling n poking at extra relays...now to join it all together and let the electrons flow...hopefully.

So quiet day today...got out to garage late...not feeling doing the final wire off fuse box to chassis and pcm...wanna do it all in 1 day..
So done wiper and routed cable up high drill couple of holes to cable tie out rain gulley. Sleeved on bends..local earth and fuse box earth. Talking of earths....cleaned up all engine bay earths...ran big engine earth out to chassis rail earth...and removed engine bay earth off of knock sensor and earth  on fpr bracket...linked to chassis earth...basically bloody well earthed.
Brake switch connected up sides lights and brake light feed fed up to fuse box...rh drivers headlight wired up and fed back to fuse box.
Few issues as now there is 3 big holes into cabin that need plating and I need a suitable gland for these bay to cabin cables...else when it rains gonna flood ecu. Goona have a look in the scrap bin at work see what we got...Couple of rivets and some pull should seal up.
Still not decided on final resting place of ecus and fuse box...got plenty of cable length so ok...
Anyway got piccys of finished engine bay...no more wires in here...I wired up headlights on high beam Clive will swap onto h7 plugs mainbeam on 192 light units...that's it Thursday. Few piccys.
