Nice Rotary  surprise yesterday.

In preparation for the cancelled Goodwood breakfast meet, Mazda cleared their HQ to fill the place with glorious Rotarys, obviously I just had to go a look .  :13:

Nice,  nice to see USS FB model.  First time saw it in the 1980's  at the owner's ground. it was 3-4 miles on the clock.

It won't have after the weekend, but the Gen 1 only had 59 miles on it !

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

If you put this into Google Earth you can see where it is.

Mazda Motors UK Limited, Customer Relations Centre,
Victory Way, Crossways Business Park,
Dartford, Kent, DA2 6DT.

I even sneeked a car into the showroom at the Mazda Day that you will recognise  ;)

I do recognize it. :) And I see Steves old 3,  few beautifull FBs...

Is that show room open to anyone?

Not always filled with Rotarys but yes the public can just walk in at any time for a look around.

If your over, I will go and look and see what is in there so you do not have a wasted journey.

Ok, I see. Thanks. It seems to be quite near you...

Well, I'm allready planning next years trip. I think Ill stay South-East area. There is so much to see. Dover, Rochester, Canterbury, Hastings...  Maybe visit Astons and your shop...
But then there is question of when? I like to visit Lydden Hill to see some rallycross. And/or some rotary event if there is one...

That's a nice collection of rotaries on display. I perceive that as a sign that the rotary is still alive and kicking in Mazda's future (.................maybe wishful thinking on my part though ;))
