Used 888s for years no issues so stick with what i know for front...
Avon zv5s front 888s rear on track is fun ....not lol....so much understeer...its was like the front of the car was on castors ....Brad my passenger really didnt like it lol.... off opp North to get his mx5 track car tomoz....and hes out with us at forge first go...looking for a experienced tracker to coach him for 2 sessions if anybody fancys it...hes a good sensible kid...

Well funny ol day....Brad was supposed to check over his mx5 but no show as sleepin off the friday night drink...when he did show looking like a dogs dinner i sent him of with a list of parts / jobs he needs to do b4 tracking as i gave it a looksee.....onto the fd ive modifield my filler neck up in height and width....in fact the filler cap is now level with the bottom of the bonnet...frikin fiddly routing though ic piping and allowing access for dipstick...reverted back to 1 1/2 in breather to catchtank right at the top of new filler neck..2 breathers now out of catchtank..hoping now oil dont make it all the way to the nipple...half way up filler neck fuel foam to catch the oil as air passes through....went for a blast and defi oil pressure gauge alarming at 0 on way back so new sensor duff...always something....still aint sorted any tyres for front yet.

new filer neck design...cut the old 1 in half and joined up with samco hoses....if it works i.e oil filler neck now massive so oil falls out of air as velocity decreases and falls back to sump....or at least limits the amount reaching catch tank. now breathing on 1 half inch nipple scope to add another....longterm...get the design made up in alloy if works as well awhere oil rots silicone other time...

and in other news have a Mazda mk1 Eunos s special type 1 to pick up...in laguna blue mazzive mot fail sheet to work through...but a fantastic special edition in a great colour...probably keep this 1 for myself....

Got 2 sessions at Combe at Forge...but hoping weather good so can give the Westy a run...and then possibly 15th sept. 8th going to Thruxton but in mx5 due to noise.

Double garage....house situated in cul de sac....in block paved off street set up...room for 7 cars but there all bangers well most of em..

Theyre all projects....westys got 2mm of dust onit...coltie blown gearbox...scooby rusty arches and bonnet laquer 80% missing...FD continuos maintenance...whats next....trailer n shogun all good though ha ha..

Thing is had nicy shiny cars...too scared to track em and cant leave em anywhere they get door dented by morons...my mint r33 gtr was a nightmare just couldnt take it anywhere for fear of damage or worse.

Totally understand. When I had my FD, I was terrified too leave it anywhere. Spent some much time on the paint work etc that I didn't want anyone ruining it, I was actually relieved as much as saddened when I sold it.

Been playing with tyres today...measuring with sticks n straight edge....my rear et is 40 ...arches are rolled...but my 265 is close....and theyre actually 270mm...
Gonna have to chance it...
But sticking with 225 fronts...i know they fit and no power steering....and a little under steer keeps oversteer away.
