Well now, the RX goes to dorset next week and I have to decide which way to go: Elford kit + rebuild or 12a turbo.

The kit is on ebay for the last time this week if it wont sell I have to use it again.  If it does I can afford (well nearly) a 12a turbo.

Ooooh the anticipation!

mmmmm,12a turbo, loads of tuning potential, especially if you microtech it!sounds awesome as well, that little dump valve is fabulous.Tim loves his 12at\'s with a vengeance,i believe they are his favourite rotary :D

Microtech is a fuel computer.made a massive difference to top end acceleration-when i had it fitted, coming back home on the M27,i thought i\'d somehow changed doen to 3rd,but it was in 5th.Scared me for a minute until i started beaming like a lunatic :D

Doesnt look like the elord kit has sold so I doubt I can afford the 12a turbo.

Will have to make do with that rebuilt with a new exhaust I guess.

I know of an Elford in a breakers -  a mate is going to see if the turbo and manifold are still there over the weekend if you are interested? :)

EDIT: Just realised you were trying to get rid of one, not get another :o

Yeah, thanks for the offer.  I\'d resue the bits anyway, theres loads of slow old rxs that could use a turbo.  Very rare.  Make sure you get the sump & oil lines + inlet & ex manifolds.  Also all the pipes & solenoids that go to the dizzy - these retard the boost.
