Well interesting day...assisting the wife on the wheel barrow n spade some gardening destroy your itself broken up with crawling under the fd...
Resecured the rad fan x2...first idea no joy. 
Then onto back exaiming rear end for clunk....no issues found but fair amount of backlash in diff..no cracks in ppf and all bolts nice n tight...maybe rev match downshifts better.....
Empty catch can and scratch chin....oil on subframe not from burp...or poss filler neck join to centre iron...so stripped it out and redo gasket and Castle Combe penny washer trick installed...Clives coolant tank vent onto windscreen trick gave me an idea and the pipe to show catch tank level is gonna be looped up onto windscreen idea still bouncing around in the shell.
Massive clean up....fire up the ol girl and no evidence of leak...spin around town and re exam and yep...oil weeping out behind aircon mount.....so couple of wheel barrows later of fancy blue slate all stripped out to discover oil coming from end plate join...BUT....3 bolts securing plate all slightly loose...nipped em up and coating of well seal ontop for good measure all seems tickety boo at 80psi oil pressure. I love wellseal.

Yeah...i really hope front cover leak sorted...else its gotta come off for new gasket...finding the bolts slightly loose made my day...prob a bit of engine flex over the years...rpm gauge on radar today.
