Quote from: MarkKiss on February 04, 2016, 10:55:29 AMI would like attend this event. I am form Czech Republic (www.rx7.cz), now live in UK. I would like to spoke with you guys(ladies) about own Rotary in UK (I am concern about insurance/mods and problems what I found to own RX) Many thanks for reply.

Marek

Hi Marek - it would be ideal if you booked a place on the MRC stand (booking details just above) as you will be able to meet and discuss your issues face-to-face with loads of other rotary owners on the day.

PLUS, in case people have missed this point (mentioned briefly above), Mazda are planning some sort of celebration of the FD at Japfest this year, as it's the car's 25th anniversary. A parade on the track is likely, plus I think all rotary club stands will be grouped together in the same area.

So, if you have an FD even more reason to come along and be part of whatever celebration Mazda are planning  :)

Of course, all Mazda rotary models are welcome on the MRC stand, as always  8)

Hi Casey,

many thanks I dont have RX in UK (I have now just family estate, but I miss my RX and I want to buy RX soon). I hope we will meet there. To help me resolve or issues.

JAPFEST TRACK TIME

UPDATE: More spaces have become available!

For those coming to Japfest there are still places available if you want to take your car on track  :)

The RX8OC have THREE track sessions booked which are for club members. MRC members are also most welcome to join in any, or all of these sessions. Price is £30 per session, discounted for the Japfest public price of £35.

At this special Japfest, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the RX-7 FD, why not take a session (~15 minutes) or two out on track with your rotary, whether Old Skool, RX-7 or RX-8, and share our passion in front of the huge crowds that will be attending Silverstone this year.

Tickets can be purchased via the RX8OC shop:

http://shop.rx8oc.co.uk/

Please post up on here if you purchase track session tickets so we can keep tabs and liaise with the RX8OC team.

The shopping centre in Milton Keynes is most certainly open on Sundays - lots of nice shops.  :)

I did post up on the other thread but we're all booked up.  :13:

re japi

How much taxi from Premier Inn Silverstone to Milton Keynes center would cost?

Oh, and what kind of weather usually southern Uk and Silverstone has in April?

Btw Chris, are you alone or do you have a passenger allready?

Just realized that it would really really suck if I have to come to Silverstone in some other car than rotary :D some one please pick me up!!!! ;)

Also, less than 8 days, and we are flying to UK. Dammit, I just cant wait! :D wohoo

Well it's been snowing this morning!

I should point out that snow this time of year is very unusual.

Hopefully it will be dry next weekend - but probably a bit cold, around 10 degrees.

We had gorgeous weather for JapFest last year - and it's sunny today so you can never tell.

But bikinis will not be required!
