I read in the service manual secondary inj. Come in at 3800 rpm. So after i change the plugs and fuel filter ill worry about it then. Thatll be when im finally feel well enough to go in the frikin garage for more than an hour. Now after lab tests i have 3rd course and correct antibiotics i hope. Peed off tbh car should be ready for mot by now have not even taken a wheel off. Moan over....Happy Newyear. Lol

Just as well you checked, I would have sworn it was 2800#

Coincidently, 5500 is where, boost/ fuel cut kicks in with the stock ECU if you carry out too many exhaust/ intake mods but it cant be that  as your on a different ECU

"Check the voltage to the fuel pump", said the actress to the electrician

hope the drugs work (now there's something I wouldn't normally say!)
All the best Clive

I think thats a bosch 036 or something, not sure on the model.  Remember the 044 being the big bad bosch boy and im pretty sure thats the one below. Bought from a friend and never got around to fitting.

I might as well stick a new fuel pump in for piece of mind...getting a long shopping list for Clive. Not looking forward to the fuel filter never done 1 on an fd it cant be that bad.... :P

Couple of tips for the filter I found,

Jack the car up at the back as high as you can leaving the front on the ground, slide under the car length ways with your feet toward the engine as this lets your arms be at the right angle to get to the pipes on the filter.

Next you will need the type of pliers listed below to get the squeeze clips off the rubber pipes

Hope this helps

fuel pump in there is standard. One in the boot is the fuel pump below an 044 in terms of flow. as said, I think its an 036 or something. Not sure, dont remember. But its uprated from the standard one thats currently in it.

obviously pressure test the rad mate but its been swollen since day dot and held up fine. It may have gone further while sat, but its always been no issue when ive had it!

What plugs did you put in by the way?  It needs i think b9eqp, it wont run properly on the stock RX7 plugs - mis fires on boost.
