Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

some time ago i sold a kidney on Ebay, or rather swapped it for this RX-3 SP steering wheel

and finally, after exactly 15 months, the car has been dropped off back home
good things come to those who wait, damn that is so true!
the quality is TOP NOTCH
there are some miniscule faults, like normal, but the car hasnt even been touched or polished after paint.
i will be putting it back together first and when that is finished the paint will have a final check and the car will be polished

already pretty dusty inside

the build can finally begin! :)

Wow, I think that's the only word needed  :00123102:

thnx guys! yeah those VW's are from my friend who owns the garage, its his business

this weekend was the first that i had time to get some work done, so i made some serious progress
the full suspension was ready for mounting, so i started with this

Car needed to go from storage into the workshop, so i took the time to get some pics in the sun

rear suspension was ready for mounting on a cart, so i put a jack under it bolted straight on

engine and gearbox were also ready for the testfit, so i used the same trick

then mounted the front suspension and steering

test fitted the wheels

but because i dont know which tyre size i was gonna run, i mounted some steelies first.
car is rolling and steering again :)

to be continued...
