Hello all I'm starting  a single turbo transformation and I'm wondering what the standard fuel pump is capable of aswell as the injectors,

General spec of engine

Half bridge port
T70 turbo  .70 at compressor .96 a/r turbine
3 inch full system
10psi wastegate vents to atmosphere
Front mount very big
Updated radiator

Pfc
Apexi AVCR boost controller

Now would the standard fuel pump be ok as well as injectors

Could I use the 850 as primary the get some 1300 as secondaries all help is greatly appreciated

Forgot to put I will be running around 400 bhp hopefully

L18M

you'll easily see 400 with that set up.

not a very technical reply but most people i know running big power use bosch 044.

i had 374bhp (fly) with bosch 044, 550cc pri, 1680 secondary inj which was more than enough fueling and the secondaries didnt even break a sweat.
you'll have the same amount of fueling as me so you'll be fine
2 doritos on a stick woohoo :rollin

Go with what Liam has said and don't use 1300 cc injectors as so many have lost engines due to these nasty things over the years !

044 is one of the best pumps out there but I would run it inline, had one in tank and was noisy....if you don't mind a bit of noise it's a perfect choice

044 can have apparently pick-up issues hence people running them in line with another pump and a swirlpot. I'm not convinced this is necessary for what you're aiming for, so unless you specifically want to do that you could replace the stock pump with a new Walbro with a decent flow rate. I have done this on mine running at an estimated 450bhp. I forget what model I've got, I can find out for you if you need.

Don't forget to replace the fuel filter while you're at it. Also, give the pump a permanent 12v feed. Likely as not you'll be relocating the battery to the boot, so take a new one from there and plug it into a relay using the original variable voltage feed to switch it.
