Just looking at some rain x. Which is best? 2 in 1 or just rain x?

Casey

I can vouch for the "straight" Rain-X. Works brilliantly on our two cars and lasts a long time. Lots of elbow grease required to buff it off after application, but well worth it.

You got the best (fastest) colour too Grant  :)

Not as much grunt as an FD, but the chassis gives the RX-8 some incredibly good handling. With Federals 595RS-R's on, plus the lowering springs, you'll be amazed at how fast the car will take corners. I can vouch for the Eibachs - I started with those to improve track handling. Get some 20mm Eibach spacers too, to improve looks and handling further.

Defo need spacers. Not too bothered about grunt, need a car I can drive and take my family with me too. I'm certain this engine will be plenty enough HP;):)

Got an engine int garage if I want more power plus a turbo.

Defo getting dynod, and going to get a stock rx8 dynod same day to compare so no criticism can be had of the results etc

Just checked and halfrauds do rain x so going to get some 2moro

re japi

So your car is basically stock, except engine of course? Is fuel and oil systems stock too? Exhaust? Brakes?

I think evo wheels would look awesome on her. Btw, thanks Jon, didnt know that about those wheels :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Upgraded brake pads that's it. Ecu is learning. When I set off home than engine felt tight and slighly hesitant but it's now smooth and loose. Free revving

Grant Monkhouse

Can anyone do photoshop?? I want to see what the car looks like with different colour wheels. Mostly blue ones, stick rims

Grant Monkhouse

24 mpg!!! Now that's quite good. No revs over 4,000 rpm and on the motorway sat at 80mph and also stood in a lot of traffic on Friday. So quite impressed.

Applied some rain x today. Man does that stuff work!! Went for a drive to get my son to sleep and drive through a down pore. The rain practically jumped off the windows!!

Does it work on helmet visors?  Never tried it tbh....
