The lad i sold the red 231 is having hot start issues and he has enquired about my spare engine. This is the 1 i have sat in my garage doing nothing....circa 65k and removed from the westy by me when i put the new 1 in. I know its a good un as hot starts allday and ran very well in the westy.....id like his old engine in px so i can rebuild myself as a project.....ive filled it with oil and turn it regulary...but whats its worth fair to the pair of us?

re japi

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Not really sure either, but it sounds low-fair if you are not offering any form of warranty (beyond maybe a month or so, to allow buyer to confirm all OK).

difficult 1 because i dont want the hassle if it plays up. ideally red 1 needs a comp test and gen coils not the cheapos he fitted.mmmm
