FD shell offer.....

Well after several years out the game I've been offered an FD rolling shell for pretty much free. Needs an engine. No engine in it at all. I've been looking across a couple of FD forums gauging engine prices.

I don't have a lot of details of the car. It was literally a conversation about my mechanics current car collection and he said that shell you can have, needs an engine.....my heart rate hasn't been the same.

I'm hoping to get across this week to review bodywork, see what items are missing and go from there.

What's the options engine wise? Get one from a breaker and fit it? Purchase a complete rebuilt engine? Hoping to fit the engine and get the car running on my own.
