Hi , i am looking to remove my stock twin turbos and replace with a single turbo.

can anyone help me with kits.. whats the best/most favoured conversion kit and where to buy such parts...

many thanks.  O0

Your question for which turbo and related parts you will need will be better answered if you have a horsepower figure in mind and  if the car is going to be road, track or strip.

apologies, i'm looking for 300bhp for fast road and occasional track day use.

For 300hp why bother swapping to a single unless your twins are knackered. A remap on a pfc and maybe a bigger fuel pump should give you a reliable 300hp with the low end grunt of sequential twins.400+hp is another story...

You should be able to achieve this on your stock twin turbos but if you want to go single then you need look no further than a Garrett GT35 to achieve this power and it will give you super smooth acceleration

You will need a better fuel pump like a Walbro 255 in tank (this will support this power with no problem)

Also a fuel regulator and a 1680 fuel injector and rail set up .

Make sure you get a decent sized intercooler preferably fitted with the radiator in a V mount formation

Lastly you will need a mappable ECU and the favoured ECU is an Apexi ECU

Just so you know what this will cost , adding this all up comes in at around 3k with you doing the work other than the mapping to get the engine running after the conversion

i am in the mind set of swapping to a single turbo would cut down on the amount of vacuum lines, resulting in slightly better reliability..i like the idea of one bigger turbo.

Theres there always the non sequential conversion where the 2 turbos perform as 1 and all vac lines simplified....but if your not hunting bigger power and more importantly if aint broke.....enjoy the sequential turbos as mazda intended with low down power....

i am hunting for slightly more power 300-350 range...
the car is currently in limp mode (still under investigation) and i know the exhaust manifold is leaking from the sound and fumes i am getting coming from that area, instead of putting money into fixing up the twins and poking around in the 'Rats Nest' i would rather buy all new parts for her to be a single turbo along with removing some of vacuum lines...i struggle to get my head around everything that is happening and involved in that :P
