Engine bay finished aside from the jank multicoloured pipes on the hot side & the ducting





Fluids in all things present and correct, other than a missing vacuum pipe which was a bit of a head scratcher for a while she fired up and ran bloody well. To say that I am relieved is a vast understatement! Quick vid (and I do mean quick!)



Also tried the hood for the first time, it works, this is the first time it\'s been all the way down since I\'ve had the car.

And now moving on to wiring the gadgets and gizmos. Unfortunately, I had to can the (completely and utterly useless but fantastically cool) ARC downforce meter as there wasn\'t room. I\'ve also bought Stack electronic Oil Temp, Oil Pressure & Water Temp gauges along with a Revotec fan controller. My credit card is screaming for mercy.




Bonnet, skirts, splitter and arches are painted and should be collected either today or monday

Glad you approve! They were on the white car in a bodged up low slung set up (previous owner had removed the gibbons that made the lights go up n down) but I love pop ups so they\'ve been worked into the standard housings. AFAIK they\'re not an off the shelf item.

I have news RE your gearbox by the way, you around 5-8th of September? I\'ll be driving up to the lakes on the 5th.
