lol, just how sneaky is sneaky?

Is it adjusting the timing or something?

I posted a question about this - I was looking at using the FD TB but it would need to eliminate the idle control, which I am not fussed about because it means less wiring, but was worried about the impact of this on idle.

Nice build btw - very inspiration, as is Leroys, im taking as much info from these as I can ;)

edit - Mis read your post, you do have a solenoid... is it just a case of plumbing an air line of some sort between the plenum and the intake side of the TB, then using an aftermarket one I suppose ?

re japi

Holy h**l, that is shiny and green and beautiful :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

I am sure I offered up the 13B throttle body and it didn\'t go. Not a straight swap at least. 13B is 4 bolt and 20B is 3 bolt flange IIRC?
As for idle control mine will be non-functioning to start with as I don\'t have control for it on my ECU other than a spare 5v output which I may need to use to trip the fans. Although i am hoping i can use the stock set-up to control the fans via temp.
My old 13B ran with idle control just fine. The valve started dicking about so it was disconnected and idle adjusted manually to get it running right. Was fine.

Thanks Malcolm, if all the running in and test days go ok than we may put her into the last two time attack days at
Silverstone and Brands Hatch as a \'one hit wonder\' entrant, basically to get inside experience of the event and if
that goes to plan we may well enter him for the complete series next year.

But there will defo be plenty of track days in the meantime to have lots of fun.  :)

More done today, the flat floor is well under way, all the brackets are welded in and the center piece fits nicely,
and for those of you about to jump in.... the ally vents arrive tomorrow to aid in circulation of air around the exhaust and
diff together with exit vents in the diffuser.
