Iv got quite Abit of clutch judder when setting off, but once ive set of then its pretty ok engaging gears, also when im slowing down and change right down and lift my foot of the the clutch pedal its will kind of judder then..mmmm?? Any reccomendations for a new clutch? Its relatively standard and the most power it will be running is around 320 when it finally does get a remap. So i dont need no special paddle clutch that are mega expensive.. car is a 1993 fd3s...cheers ash :)

Theres and inspection plate on the understand 2 x 10mm bolts you can have a look how much friction material left with a torch. sounds like pressure plate though. Have you looked at clutch master and slave levels? any leaks. easy to bleed and see whats what.

any clutch release bearing noise. in out of clutch pedal?

Not checked the fluid levels yet. Whats the best way to bleed if they are low? Cheers

On the bulk head drivers side egg cup size reservoir pull the cap and check level. Id check that and have a look up inspection panel.check the slave for leaks and consistent movement with a mate pressing and off of clutch. Bleed same way as brake. Does sound like press. Plate though.

I had a 6puk clutch in my first rx7 which used to do the same and that was due to the clutch going.

Cheers. Iv had a look on the website. The excedy oem clutch is £290 abd the stage 1 is around 450. I dont plan on anything past a remap on stock twins so would oem be fine? Or just leave it untill it starts slipping? Lol

Ive noticed that the juddering isnt as bad when the car warms up? Any idea there?
