Aye, pretty happy so far.

Tyres, the last piece of the puzzle, were ordered yesterday. Went for Conti\'s, I normally can\'t afford them in the sizes I\'ve used in the past but on the 15s they were cheap enough. Happy days.

Engine/gearbox in and mounted.

Plumbing n stuff begins.

Had an eek moment earlier where the manual prop was too short (car started life as an auto) but the auto prop fits just fine luckily.

grinder

are you swapping the diffs .. im sure they are different between auto and manual ?

and i like the piping on the cone filter

what are the 2 blue pipes by the front coil pack ?

I\'m hoping one of the 2 I\'ve got both fits and is an LSD lol, you happen to know which models were equipped with LSDs?

I prefer a hard pipe for intake, sounds better IMO.

The 2 blue pipes are Earls AN10 oil lines. Oil cooler setup is all Mocal and Earls. I had a Chinese oil pipe burst on me a few years back I\'ve been copping the proper gear ever since. Buy cheap, buy twice!

I\'m also now a paid up member on here :)

LSD .. no idea matey :(

And the intake sound .. interesting theory

It\'s 3 inch piping in the photo but any\'ll do as long as you have the silicone adapters. Budget around £30 in total, it\'s a good mod that gives a nice growl.

To each his own though!

grinder

might have to look into it one day .. MOT is looming in 2 months .. have to see how that pans out first :(

and might have to start to use the thing .. its been stood for a few months now and not used :(

Aww, I\'m sure it would appreciate a drive!

In other news, today brings more expenditure and waiting around. Diff bushes are all shot to :censored::censored::censored::censored: and according to Mr Parts Man at Mazda Romford there isn\'t a set in the whole of Europe. I\'m now £223.06 lighter and settling down to a 10 day wait. Fantastic.

rob192

After a frustrating morning getting shafted by the V-Mount set up that now looks destined to become a Front Mount setup some suspension bushes were done so it felt like the day wasn\'t wasted.

So, front mounting the intercooler would have meant routing the pipe either through the chassis rails or using about 20ft of piping and having to relocate the battery so we decided to persevere with the v-mount route.

Intercooler was positioned and front bar notched (it will be beefed back up later down the line, we don\'t leave :censored::censored::censored::censored: weak and flapping)

Cracked on with making the mounts for the radiator, you\'ll notice the pipes have been cut off the radiator and will be TIG\'d back on in the correct position later.

rob192

Cooler now mounted too

PAS cooler and Oil cooler test fitted in front bumper
