I\'m upgrading my secondary fuel rail to a KG rail as i\'m getting fuel leak from around the injector. Having read up on some articles it might be a faulty pulsation damper (on the primary rail) causing the fuel leak.

Anyone else had problems with a faulty pulsation damper on their T2?
Where to source a new one?

Also on FC3S PRO they say can remove the pulsation damper by using a S4 T2 primary rail and a banjo bolt. Anyone done this? good or bad?

How can you test if the pulsation damper is faulty or not?

Thanks :)

If you have a fuel pressure regulator , which I am presuming you have, do away with the damper anyway so it can\'t interfere with fuel feed
hope this helps

Thanks clive, Yes running SARD FPR :Thumbs-up

^^^ What clive says ^^^

I used an AN fitting instead of the pulsation damper - direct feed into your primary rail through a sweeping 90 degree bend - much better for fuel delivery !

Stock fuel rails are theoretically capable of about 500bhp, even using serial fuel system, but many people switch to a parallel fuel delivery system before then, the primaries and secondary\'s affect each other less.

I ran a modified secondary (remove standard FPR and replaced with welded AN fitting) with stock primary and used a SARD FPR, worked a treat.

Is your primary rail off an S4 Prof? as from what i\'ve read the S5 ones are welded on?
I\'ve not taken it apart yet to investigate.

Have a KG secondary rail on its way over :)

My secondary rail was a modified S4 rail, my primary is a standard S5 rail - both banjo fittings can be removed and an AN fitting used instead.
