hello, im looking for a patch harness to fit a 16 bit power fc to a 8 bit loom plug but the firm that used to sell them dont anymore. i was wondering if anyone out there had one they could photograph (in detail) ((or lend ;D)) so i can build my own??
im having a right nightmare figuring it out from the various diagrams i have found so want to cheat if at all possible haha.

cheers.

Correct me if I\'m wrong , but if I have a 92 fd engine it would use an 8bit ecu right? And if to say I converted to single turbo and bought an apexi ecu and accidently bought a ahem, jdm 96 on apexi ecu n commander ( forcing me to get a later loom to patch in on top... ) that would of meant me pretty much doing an 8 to 16 bit ecu patch?

Well the only difference I encountered when I did it ( thing ran but back fired n blew me foot off - zorst at time came out thru fr bumper ) wouldn\'t rev up at all, a quick trip up to re worx and the chappy let me have a look at a late spec Rex and it became clear - the pinout diagram I used simply had the crank sensors in opposite . The rest was just careful check, snip n solder wires. ( with a lot of tape naming each wire lol ) I a total newbie at this rotary game and the best way I\'ve learnt is just to really take my time. I won\'t lie though, I have been distracted by other thrills too which has drastically hindered my death sled project.

nice. what diagrams did you use? im having a hard time finding the right ones

nc30pete

I posted it up on here ages ago on a thread , if you can\'t find it on my old thread, ( I\'ve not got a lot - like 5 in total I reckon ) I\'ll dig out the pin out diagram and email the pic bud
