Struggling again with my lap top so apologies for multiple posts. I\'ve now reverted to my phone!
We\'ve decided to junk the RX8 steering rack after connecting it up to a battery and seeing it go straight onto right full lock. Our plan was to use a stand alone electric power steering controller but in my eyes trusting one of these is something I decided I couldn\'t do. We\'re now fitting a Mk3 MX5 rack which is a conventional hydronic type.
I\'ve enjoyed making dash and I\'m really happy with the results, just need the wiring sorting now and I can get it flocked/painted.
Dry sump wasn\'t straight forward as well. We expect the std pump to pump a lot less than a conventional pump but when tested it pumped double which limited our dry sump pump choice. We opted for a big pace twin scavenge pump which meant we could use the std pressure pump.
More pictures to follow soon.
Cheers Martin

re japi

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.
