As above guys a wee bit of advice on how to remove the windscreen trim from my series 4 FC - iv had a look but its solid, is it held in place with clips? do i need to cut into sealant with a stanley blade?

Do i need a special tool?
IV got a bit of a leak from a bit of rust along the top of the windscreen so want to remove the plastic liner and sort the rust then re-seal it.

Any help would be awesome.:Talking1

I\'m not sure on the answer but I have the same problem with the rust. I\'ll be watching this thread for the solution.

If that glass is glued, best way for that is to get some kind of thin iron wire. Then get a friend to help. Then you just "saw" that glue.

Sorry, I dont know if you understand what I mean. My "english" gives me hard time to explain my self ;)

Thanks japi but I don\'t actually want to remove the windscreen. Just the plastic seals on the top and along the a pillars.

If you go to section "14 Body", then "Windshield" it shows you an exploded drawing.
